Senior Engineer, C++/RTOS/Image processing/computer vision

As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be part of a leading technology innovator that drives digital transformation and enables next-generation experiences. Your role will involve researching, designing, developing, simulating, and validating systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions to facilitate the development of cutting-edge technology. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure system-level requirements and standards are not only met but exceeded. **Key Responsibilities:** - Development and productization of various CV solutions on Qualcomm processors - Optimization of CV algorithms on CPU, DSP & GPUs - Enhancement of CV and imaging Firmware solutions, as well as aiding in video and imaging hardware subsystem enhancements in future Qualcomm Mobile Processors - Designing CV and imaging features and collaborating with various teams (systems, software, hardware, etc.) for productization - Engaging with customers to commercialize Qualcomm CV solutions **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience OR - Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience OR - PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field **Skills/Experience Required:** - 2-5 years of experience in image processing/computer vision/video domain - Strong understanding of image processing and computer vision fundamentals - Hands-on knowledge/experience on camera/computer vision pipeline, development, porting, and optimization - Experience in optimizing image processing kernels on x86/ARM-Neon/DSP or Any VLIW based architecture - Proficient in C/assembly programming skills, multithreading, and OS concepts/fundamentals - Collaborative skills to design, implement, and debug CV/multimedia features for mobiles - Good analytical and problem-solving skills - Exposure to OpenCV APIs is a plus Please note that Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer and provides accommodations for individuals with disabilities during the application/hiring process.
