1. Role Overview

Senior Engineer – Civil

The ideal candidate must have independently managed day-to-day structural execution activities, including MIVAN formwork erection, alignment, reinforcement coordination, pre-concreting inspections, concreting, and formwork dismantling.

Direct MIVAN structural execution experience is mandatory.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage day-to-day structural execution activities for high-rise residential MIVAN projects.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute the complete MIVAN slab cycle, including formwork erection, alignment, reinforcement clearance, embedded services coordination, concreting, and dismantling.
• Monitor slab-cycle schedules, manpower productivity, and execution progress against project targets.
• Supervise RCC structural works, including shear walls, slabs, beams, columns, lift cores, and podium structures, as applicable.
• Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved structural drawings, specifications, method statements, and project quality standards.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for reinforcement, formwork, embedded items, and pre-pour inspections before concreting.
• Supervise subcontractors, allocate manpower, monitor productivity, and resolve site-level execution issues.
• Review structural drawings and coordinate with the Planning, MEP, QA/QC, and other relevant teams to avoid execution conflicts.
• Plan material requirements, reinforcement availability, formwork readiness, and concrete scheduling to support uninterrupted execution.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and client representatives and ensure timely closure of observations.
• Maintain daily progress reports, pour records, inspection checklists, and structural execution documentation.
• Support achievement of project milestones while maintaining required quality and safety standards.

3. Mandatory Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification:

  BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering is mandatory.

• Total Experience:

  8–10 years in civil construction, with substantial relevant structural execution experience.

• MIVAN Experience:

  Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in MIVAN/aluminium formwork execution.

• Project Exposure:

  Direct experience in high-rise residential projects of G+15 floors and above.

• Structural Execution:

  Demonstrated responsibility for MIVAN formwork operations and recurring slab-cycle execution.

• Technical Knowledge:

  Strong understanding of RCC construction, reinforcement, formwork alignment, concreting, structural sequencing, and quality inspections.

• Execution Capability:

  Ability to coordinate subcontractors, manage manpower productivity, and achieve planned execution targets.

• Drawing Interpretation:

  Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and coordinate with relevant project teams.

Candidates must be able to clearly demonstrate their individual responsibilities in MIVAN structural execution during the screening process.

4. Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in large residential townships or multi-tower high-rise developments.
• Exposure to the Bangalore residential construction market.
• Experience managing structural work fronts, zones, or multiple execution teams.
• Experience working to demanding slab-cycle schedules, including a 5–7-day cycle where project conditions and methodology permit.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and site execution skills.

5. Candidates Who Will Not Be Considered

• Candidates with experience limited to villas, low-rise buildings, or conventional shuttering without direct MIVAN exposure.
• Candidates without hands-on MIVAN slab-cycle execution experience.
• Candidates whose project exposure does not meet the mandatory G+15 high-rise residential requirement.
• Candidates unable to substantiate their claimed MIVAN experience or individual execution responsibilities.
