Senior Engineer, Cloud ML Accelerator

As an experienced software engineer at Qualcomm Cloud Business Unit, your primary role will involve working on Linux User-space for Machine Learning Use cases, specifically focusing on Qualcomm high-performance inference accelerator AI100 and related products. Your responsibilities will include: - Linux software architecture and design - Development, software integration, functional and performance testing To excel in this position, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering experience OR Master's degree with 1+ year of experience OR PhD in related field - 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Languages like C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Key Responsibilities: - 2 years" experience with Linux user-space development, including IOCTL interfaces, API development, and multi-threaded processing - 2 years" experience with development in Modern C++ (11, 14, 17) including debug and testing - Proficiency in multiple languages (C, C++, Python) and experience in unit testing tooling for C and C++ development - Experience with real-time embedded operating systems - Experience in UML design capture & analysis - Knowledge of RTOS, SoC architecture, and common hardware blocks - Experience with Source Code and Configuration management tools, with git knowledge - Familiarity with inter-process communication architecture such as gRPC Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities during the application/hiring process.
