ACV Auctions is currently seeking a Senior Engineer to join our NextGen team and contribute to our SaaS Product, MAX Digital. This role will primarily involve backend development and maintenance of NodeJS features and services hosted in AWS, utilizing MongoDB and GraphQL. The ideal candidate will have a solid background and a proven track record in architecting and designing enterprise applications using NodeJS. They should demonstrate a commitment to producing high-quality code and a collaborative approach to development. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and design systems from scratch - Develop features in NodeJS for our NextGen SaaS platform - Maintain and expand the existing codebase, adhering to established patterns and understanding the code's execution flow - Lead new feature and refactoring projects - Assist the team in addressing customer and stakeholder reported issues - Maintain a strong engineering focus on the current versions of our products used by customers Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent - 6+ years of experience in architecting and designing systems - Experience collaborating with a geographically dispersed team across multiple time zones - Excellent communication skills - Proficiency in MongoDB, GraphQL, SQL, and integrating 3rd-party APIs - Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS RDS, S3, SQS, SNS, Lambdas, Docker/Containers - Experience working in an Agile environment and applying Agile best practices and ceremonies Our Values: Trust & Transparency | People First | Positive Experiences | Calm Persistence | Never Settling,
