Senior Data Quality Engineer

You are a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Quality Engineer with 7+ years of experience, responsible for supporting testing and quality assurance for symplr's scalable Data Platform. Your role is crucial in maintaining the integrity, reliability, and performance of the data systems. You are expected to bring expertise in ETL testing, data validation, AWS-based data workflows, and Power BI reports, with a strong foundation in Test Automation and scripting. As part of the symplr Data Platform team, you will report to the Quality Manager and collaborate closely with Engineering and Analytics stakeholders to ensure high data quality standards are met. Your duties and responsibilities include contributing to the development and execution of data quality strategies and best practices, designing and executing ETL tests, monitoring and optimizing AWS-based data pipelines, developing Python-based scripts for automation, ensuring data accuracy in Power BI reports, collaborating with various teams to resolve data quality issues, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of testing procedures and results. To excel in this role, you must have 7+ years of experience in data quality engineering or related fields, hands-on expertise in ETL testing and data validation, familiarity with AWS data services, proficiency in SQL and Python, experience with Power BI reports validation, knowledge of test management tools like Azure DevOps, and experience working in Agile environments.
