Senior CNC Programmer

As a Senior CNC Programmer at our company located in Perundurai, SIPCOT, with over 5 years of experience in CNC Programming & Machining, you will be responsible for the following key duties: - Develop and generate precise CNC programs using Mastercam (2D & 3D). - Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints with accuracy. - Select appropriate cutting tools, holders, and fixtures based on job requirements. - Perform program proving, trial runs, and validate output on CNC milling and turning machines. - Optimize existing programs for cycle time, tool life, and machining quality. - Collaborate with machinists and operators to ensure smooth execution of operations. - Troubleshoot programming or machining issues and implement corrective actions. - Work towards continuous improvement in machining processes, quality, and productivity. Your skills should include: - Proficiency in CAM software such as Mastercam, AutoCAD, UG/NX, or equivalent. - Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining symbols. - Hands-on experience with tool selection, cutting data, and process planning. - Sound knowledge of CNC machining sequences, tooling, and workholding techniques. - Ability to conduct root-cause analysis for machining issues. - Familiarity with quality standards, 5S, and ISO procedures. Qualifications required for this role: - Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Tool Engineering. - Certification in CNC Programming is a plus.
