Description
As a Senior Software Engineer at our Bangalore location, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. With over 10 years of experience, you will work full time in a hybrid mode environment. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Additionally, you will lead technical projects, mentor junior engineers, and enhance software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems. Your responsibilities will involve designing and developing software applications that align with business needs and technical requirements. Leading technical projects from concept to completion will be a crucial part of your role, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design software solutions will also be essential. Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices in software development is paramount. You will lead the design, development, and deployment of complex, cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Step Functions, ECS/Fargate, and S3. Implementing microservices architecture, developing high-quality RESTful APIs, and collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment on technical goals will be part of your regular tasks. Your role will also involve driving the evolution of the SaaS platform, advocating for serverless and microservices patterns, and integrating CI/CD pipelines and automation practices into the development lifecycle. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies is required. Proficiency in multiple programming languages and software development frameworks is essential. With 10+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role, you should have advanced proficiency in Python or Golang with a focus on backend/cloud application development. Additionally, expertise in designing and implementing AWS cloud-native solutions, RESTful API design, development, and integration, along with hands-on experience in AWS services is crucial. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, containers, orchestration tools, distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization techniques is required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are highly valued. Preferred qualifications include AWS Certifications, experience with automated testing frameworks, observability and monitoring tools, as well as leading agile teams and implementing DevOps practices.
