Senior CADD Drafter

As a CADD Drafter in the transportation sector, your role involves performing a variety of moderate to difficult drafting assignments using the Microstation application. Your responsibilities include: - Preparing near complete sets of engineering and construction drawings related to transportation infrastructure with minimal information provided - Performing basic discipline related design tasks as directed - Providing CADD/technical support tasks such as plotting drawings, assembling drawing packages, and making simple calculations - Supporting field assignments as required and referencing information from vendor prints and technical manuals - Demonstrating good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team - Possessing strong knowledge of MicroStation and basic knowledge of Revit/Civil 3D applications - Being proficient in using Microsoft Office for design-related tasks primarily within the CADD environment Qualifications required for this role include: - Degree/Diploma in Engineering - 10+ years of related experience in transportation or water infrastructure-related CADD drafting using Microstation, with 5 years in international projects CDM Smith may conduct background checks, including criminal, employment, and education, as well as drug testing for designated positions.
