Position Summary
We are looking for a results-driven Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in Agile project delivery and software application development. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to understand business needs, translate requirements into clear user stories, and drive the successful delivery of technology solutions.
Candidates who have experience building applications from scratch, from requirement gathering through development, testing, and deployment, will be preferred. Experience in HR Tech is a strong advantage, although candidates from other technology domains with relevant application development experience are encouraged to apply.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, business processes, user needs, and application objectives.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, as required.
- Own and manage the requirements lifecycle, from discovery and documentation through development, testing, validation, and delivery.
- Prioritize requirements and maintain a well-defined product backlog in collaboration with business stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Clarify functional requirements during development, resolve requirement ambiguities, and manage changes in scope.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate delivered functionality against acceptance criteria, and coordinate stakeholder feedback.
- Identify gaps between business expectations and technical solutions, proposing practical and scalable solutions.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives, technical feasibility, and delivery timelines.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful project execution.
Qualifications
- 58 years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably in technology consulting, software product development, or enterprise application delivery.
- Strong hands-on experience working in an Agile/Scrum delivery environment.
- Proven ability to gather requirements and convert them into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Experience working closely with software engineering teams to build, enhance, or implement applications.
- Exposure to application development projects from the initial requirements and design stages through development, testing, and deployment.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate business requirements clearly to engineering teams.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalent requirements and project management platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple requirements, prioritize effectively, and work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

- Experience in HR Technology, Human Capital Management (HCM), Learning Management Systems (LMS), Talent Management, or other HR enterprise applications.
- Experience working with customers to conceptualize and build applications or features from scratch.
- Exposure to enterprise SaaS products, integrations, APIs, and workflow-driven applications.
- Experience in a technology consulting or customer-facing delivery environment.
- Relevant certifications in Agile, Scrum, Business Analysis, or Product Management are an advantage.
