Senior Business Analyst

Job Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, they will:

• Lead requirement gathering and user story development in collaboration with Product Managers, Developers, Designers, and QA teams
• Drive the end-to-end process of defining, analyzing, and prioritizing business requirements while ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, ensuring clarity and feasibility
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Guide development teams in designing and delivering solutions aligned with agrochemical business processes
• Conduct in-depth analysis and propose data-driven solutions to enhance product offerings and user experience
• Define and document user stories, including behavior-driven development (BDD) scenarios and acceptance criteria
• Perform gap analysis and provide strategic recommendations to improve product capabilities and business processes
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring smooth execution of product roadmaps
• Ensure quality control through peer reviews, deliverable sign-offs, and adherence to best practices
• Lead functional, exploratory, and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet business and customer expectations
• Provide support during product releases and ensure seamless transition of changes to end users

Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner within a product or technology-driven environment.
• Proven domain expertise in the Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, or specialized Agrochemical sectors.
• Strong understanding of Life Sciences regulatory frameworks (e.g., GxP, FDA guidelines, HIPAA, or 21 CFR Part 11) and experience delivering validated systems.
• Proven ability to take ownership of product delivery, driving execution from concept to completion.
• Strong experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or similar frameworks) with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in user experience (UX), user story mapping, and requirement documentation.
• Ability to synthesize complex scientific or technical information and translate it into actionable business insights.
• Hands-on experience in continuous delivery and integration environments.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office Suite
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
