Senior Associate (Financial Due Diligence)

As a Transaction Services Data Analytics Assistant Manager, you will be at the forefront of innovative and strategic solutions by leveraging data analytics tools and business expertise. Your primary responsibilities will involve leading the development of client projects, creating data-driven dashboards to showcase key performance metrics, and deriving valuable insights from large data sets for Grant Thornton and its clients. You will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and overseeing projects, while also providing supervision, training, and mentorship to your team. Collaborating closely with Directors, Senior Associates, and Associates, you will contribute to client management, practice development, and business growth initiatives within your assigned group of projects. Key responsibilities include: - Leading the development of client engagements by setting project goals, outlining project milestones, overseeing dashboard development, and incorporating user feedback for project enhancement. - Training the team on advanced business intelligence tools such as Tableau, SQL, Alteryx, and Microsoft Excel. - Managing project expectations and deadlines while effectively leading change efforts. - Building and maintaining strong internal and client relationships to deliver comprehensive solutions. - Collaborating with Partners and Directors on proposals and business development activities. - Managing team performance, development, and conducting year-end reviews. Required Skills and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field. - Expertise in Tableau Certification is advantageous. - Proficiency in SQL or Alteryx data cleansing software is a plus. - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel. - Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in consulting or client servicing at a national level. - CPA or related license/certification is beneficial. - Ability to handle multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment. - Strong leadership, business development, recruitment, training, and mentoring capabilities. - Excellent written, presentation, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills. - Willingness to work additional hours as needed.
