About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliances, and month-end and year-end closing activities. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with Tally/ERP and MS Excel, and a thorough understanding of GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliances.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including day-to-day bookkeeping and maintenance of financial records.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, billing, and payment processing.
• Prepare and review journal entries, ledger postings, vouchers, and supporting financial documents.
• Perform bank reconciliations, ledger reconciliations, and inter-account reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Prepare MIS reports, financial summaries, and other management reports as required.
• Handle GST compliance, including preparation and filing of GST returns, reconciliations, and related documentation.
• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, return filings, and reconciliation activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure timely finalization of accounts.
• Coordinate with auditors, clients, vendors, banks, and internal teams for accounting and financial matters.
• Assist in statutory audits, tax audits, and other financial audits by providing the required records and documentation.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and ensure timely follow-ups and settlements.
• Review accounting entries and financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Identify discrepancies, resolve accounting issues, and implement improvements in accounting processes.
• Support senior management with financial analysis, budgeting, and other accounting-related requirements.

Requirements

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Commerce, preferably B.Com or M.Com.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime/ERP and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, income tax, and other applicable statutory compliances.
• Experience in preparing financial statements, MIS reports, and account reconciliations.
• Knowledge of month-end closing, year-end finalization, and audit procedures.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, work independently, and meet deadlines.

Ideal Candidate: A proactive accounting professional with strong technical knowledge, experience in statutory compliance and financial reporting, and the ability to independently manage accounting operations while supporting the firm's financial and compliance requirements.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
