Job Title: Senior Accountant – Real Estate & Retail Jewellery Operations

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to lead financial operations, statutory compliance, and MIS reporting across two core business verticals: plotted real estate development and retail jewellery operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong command over double-entry accounting, high-value inventory reconciliation, project cost tracking, and Indian tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Accounting & Bookkeeping: Manage daily double-entry accounting, ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliations, and cash flow tracking across both the real estate and retail jewellery entities in adherence to standardized SOPs.
• Jewellery Inventory & Bullion Accounting: Oversee stock audits, weight-to-value reconciliations (gold, silver, diamonds), karigar/vendor ledgers, making charges, wastage accounting, and daily POS sales reconciliation.
• Real Estate Project Accounting: Track project-wise site development costs, contractor RA bills, retention money, land acquisition outlays, and customer plot booking/milestone collections.
• MIS & Operational Scorecards: Prepare and maintain daily operational scorecards, monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts for management review.
• Taxation & Statutory Compliance: Handle timely computation, filing, and reconciliation of GST (including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, ITC claims, and sector-specific rates for real estate and bullion/jewellery), TDS (including Section 194-IA, 194C, 194J), Advance Tax, and PF/ESI.
• Audit & Banking Coordination: Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors for quarterly/annual closings, and liaise with banks regarding project finance, working capital limits, and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or CA Inter / Semi-Qualified CA.
• Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on accounting experience, with direct exposure to retail jewellery/bullion or real estate/construction accounting (experience in both is a strong advantage).
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling), and comfort working with custom web-based accounting dashboards or ERP tools.
• Core Competencies: High ethical standards, strict adherence to daily reporting deadlines, and sharp attention to physical-versus-book stock reconciliation.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
