2. Key Responsibilities
A. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records.
- Prepare and maintain sales invoices, purchase bills, vouchers, and receipts.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain the general ledger and reconcile accounts.
- Perform bank reconciliation and manage petty cash.
B. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and assist with GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return filings.
- Maintain records related to income tax, GST, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial advisors.
- Ensure timely payment of taxes and statutory dues.
C. Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in preparing profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Monitor company expenses and maintain proper supporting documents.
- Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and expense control.
- Identify discrepancies and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
D. Payroll & Employee Accounts
- Coordinate with HR for salary processing and payroll-related accounting.
- Maintain salary, reimbursement, and employee advance records.
- Assist with PF, ESIC, and professional tax accounting, wherever applicable.
- Ensure accurate recording of salary expenses and statutory deductions.
E. Banking & Vendor Management
- Manage banking transactions and payment processing.
- Verify vendor invoices and process payments on time.
- Follow up on outstanding customer payments.
- Maintain vendor and customer account statements.
- Support cash flow management and financial documentation.
3. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, Tally Prime, or other accounting software.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.
- Understanding of GST, TDS, income tax, and statutory compliance.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
4. Experience Required
- Experience: 5-7 years in accounting or finance.
- Experience in an IT or service-based company will be an added advantage.
- Practical knowledge of GST returns, TDS filing, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping is preferred.
5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accuracy and timely completion of accounting entries.
- Timely GST and TDS filings and payments.
- Completion of monthly bank reconciliations.
- Timely preparation of financial reports.
- Proper maintenance of financial records and supporting documents.
- Timely vendor payments and customer payment follow-ups.
- Compliance with company accounting policies and statutory requirements.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹46,000.00 per month
