Job Description

We are looking for a senior, experienced and dependable Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, payroll, documentation and office compliance activities on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience and be capable of independently handling accounting and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Payroll Management: Handle monthly salary processing, salary calculations, deductions and payroll records.
• SOWs & Documentation: Prepare and maintain Statements of Work (SOWs), agreements and other business documents.
• POS & Financial Records: Manage POS-related records and transactions, as applicable.
• Accounting & Reconciliation: Maintain books of accounts, manage invoices, track expenses and perform bank reconciliations.
• Statutory Compliance: Handle applicable GST, TDS, PF, ESI and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Office Compliance: Maintain financial records, employee documentation and other office-related compliance documents.
• General Accounts Support: Manage vendor payments, billing and other routine accounting activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Substantial hands-on experience in accounting, payroll and compliance management.
• Strong practical knowledge of accounting procedures and applicable statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Kannada and English.
• Reliable, organised and comfortable working independently.
• Preference for a senior professional aged 55 years and above with extensive practical experience.
