Job description Job Title: Senior Accountant Executive Experience: 5–6 years Location: Wakad, Pune, Maharashtra *Responsibilities and Duties General Accounting: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and preparation of financial statements. Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST and TDS returns and stay updated on changes in tax regulations. Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly. Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing, including calculation of salaries, deductions, and statutory contributions. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review. Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in all accounting activities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com); additional qualifications such as M.Com,MBA (Finance). 5–6 years of relevant experience in accounting roles. Proficiency in accounting software Tally ERP and MS Excel. Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation laws, and financial regulations. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
