You will be responsible for creating avatar concepts, assets, world-building, materials, texture definition, and environments for photo-realistic virtual worlds. Utilizing traditional tools and technology, you will craft designs in both 2D and 3D formats. Collaboration with team members is essential, as you will work on creative briefs, considering elements such as context, timescales, and creative constraints to solve tasks effectively. Demonstrating proficiency in end-to-end modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing, and rendering is crucial for this role. Your designs should align with project requirements and timelines, ensuring optimization for performance and meeting project standards. Staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies is also expected. To excel in this position, you should showcase a portfolio reflecting strong artistic and storytelling capabilities. Possessing foundational knowledge of XR, AR/VR, and Metaverse tools and processes is essential. Strong sketching skills for conceptualization, proficiency in various digital 2D and 3D software programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, Maya, and Blender, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are key requirements. Effective communication, interpersonal skills, project management abilities to handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines are crucial.
