Security Research Engineer - Customer Success

As a Security Researcher at Harness, you will be part of a high-growth company disrupting the software delivery market. Your role will involve partnering closely with customers to research modern cloud native attacks, solve detection and protection use-cases, and ensure successful adoption of our security product. Additionally, you will work with product and engineering teams to shape the product roadmap based on real-world insights. Responsibilities: - Conduct research on modern cloud native attacks and develop detection and protection use-cases. - Collaborate with customers to align security features with their environments and use cases. - Perform Security Assessments and Penetration Tests. - Research and develop internal tools for security purposes. - Troubleshoot and debug customer-facing issues related to attack detection and protection. - Evangelize product capabilities by publishing relevant content in security communities. - Analyze global cyber security attacks and assess the relevance of the Traceable product in preventing such attacks. Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science. - 1-4 years of work experience. - Proficiency in modern tech stack including microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms. - Prior development experience with strong understanding of programming languages and frameworks. - Knowledge of web app security, vulnerability research, and penetration testing. - Familiarity with pentesting tools like Burp Suite, ZAP, etc. - Strong understanding of Web/API attacks, Application Security Solutions, and various testing methodologies. - Nice to Have: Active participation in security communities like OWASP, NullCon.
