Role & responsibilities Security Engineer Application & Cloud Security Secure AWS, Azure, or GCP environments. Vulnerability Assessments & Penetration Testing – Use Burp Suite, Metasploit, OWASP ZAP . Compliance & Risk Management – Implement ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC2, NIST security standards. Network Security – Manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, Zero Trust architectures. Threat Monitoring & Incident Response – Work with Splunk, Wazuh, ELK Stack for security monitoring. Data Protection & Encryption – Apply AES, RSA, TLS/SSL encryption techniques.
