Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Senior Engineer with expertise in Checkpoint Firewall and Zscaler technologies (ZPA/ZIA). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network security solutions to protect organizational assets and ensure compliance with security standards. This role requires a deep understanding of network security protocols, tools, and best practices, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issuesn. Roles & Responsibilities:-Design, implement, and manage network security solutions, with a focus on Checkpoint Firewall and Zscaler technologies (ZPA/ZIA).-Configure, monitor, and optimize Checkpoint Firewall policies and rules to ensure secure and efficient network operations.-Deploy and manage Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) and Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) solutions to enhance secure remote access and internet security.-Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure the integrity of network systems.-Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure network architecture and configurations.-Respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.-Stay updated on emerging security technologies, threats, and industry trends.-Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.-Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).Professional & Technical
Skills:
-Experience in network security engineering or a related role.-Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and security technologies.-Hands-on experience with Checkpoint Firewall, including policy configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.-Proficiency in Zscaler technologies (ZPA/ZIA), including deployment, management, and monitoring.-Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture and implementation, particularly with Zscaler solutions.-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.-Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator/Expert (CCSA/CCSE) or equivalent.-Zscaler certifications (e.g., Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional
