Security Analyst SIEM (Splunk Administrator)

As a Security Analyst SIEM (Splunk Administrator) with over 5 years of experience, your role will involve understanding business security requirements and developing accurate design plans with risk mitigation solutions. You are expected to have a broad technical and deep security-based background, working with multiple technology platforms and interfacing with various groups within the organization. Your responsibilities will include creating standard operating procedures, supporting investigations and resolutions, validating hardware, firmware, and software for security impacts, and collaborating with vendors to troubleshoot and upgrade SIEM technology. Key Responsibilities: - Understand business security requirements and develop accurate design plans with risk mitigation solutions - Create easy-to-understand standard operating procedures for highly technical requirements - Support investigation and resolution of security incidents, reporting breaches of security compliance - Test and validate hardware, firmware, and software for security impacts - Administer SIEM tools by configuring policies, upgrading, and patching - Monitor and respond to alerts generated from SIEM systems and other technologies - Follow incident response processes and escalate events to the Incident Response Team - Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and upgrade SIEM technology Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of security domain experience with a minimum of 2+ years as a Splunk SIEM Administrator - Full-time bachelor's or master's degree - Preferred certifications: CEH, CompTIA Security +, CHFI, Splunk Admin As a Security Analyst SIEM (Splunk Administrator), you are expected to have a strong and innovative approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, flexibility, proactive working style, ability to multitask under pressure, prioritize tasks, and work effectively with remote employees and teams.,
