Second Shift Manufacturing Supervisor

As a Second Shift Manufacturing Supervisor at Hendrick Motorsports Technical Solutions in Charlotte, NC, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the Laser and Press Brake Operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Supervising and coordinating second-shift laser cutting and press brake operations. - Ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining high-quality standards. - Training, mentoring, and evaluating team members to optimize performance. - Monitoring machine operation and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime. - Enforcing safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. - Communicating effectively with first-shift supervisors and management regarding workflow, issues, and process improvements. - Maintaining accurate production records and reports. - Assisting with setup, programming, and maintenance of laser and press brake machines as needed. To qualify for this role, you should have: - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in metal fabrication, with supervisory experience preferred. - Strong knowledge of laser cutting and press brake operations. Experience with programming is a plus. - Proven ability to manage a team, delegate tasks, and drive productivity. - Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions efficiently. - Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with employees and management. - Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to meeting deadlines. - Basic CAD experience is preferred.
