Job Description

Role Overview: As a trained Scrum Master at Wipro Limited, your role involves facilitating a Scrum team and ensuring the removal of impediments to achieve sprint goals and deliverables. Your responsibilities also include safeguarding the development team, promoting self-management, fostering collaboration, and maintaining focus on tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Be accountable for meeting Sprint objectives along with the Scrum team - Ensure the fulfillment of sprint commitments - Assist in resolving impediments faced by the team - Help Product Owner (PO) in adopting the Scrum process effectively and ensure PO availability - Support the PO in managing the Product Backlog, defining User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria - Conduct estimation, backlog refinement, and all planning ceremonies - Ensure availability and adherence to Definition of Ready (DOR), Definition of Done (DOD), and Acceptance criteria - Ensure MoSCoW prioritization of Sprint Backlog at the Sprint level - Ensure the correct implementation of the Agile Process - Protect the team from external interference - Provide technical assistance to the team and facilitate clear communication among team members - Participate in Scrum of Scrum meetings across teams and highlight impediments - Provide feedback on team members' performance to the Agile Line manager and Agile Program Leader - Facilitate all Scrum Ceremonies (Planning, Daily Standup, Grooming, Demo, retrospection), and ensure correct adoption - Ensure the updating of all Scrum artifacts - Keep the ALM tool (either client or Wipro) updated on a daily basis - Update key Scrum metrics into Wipro internal tools on a Sprint-by-Sprint basis - Analyze key Scrum metrics and take corrective actions - Develop a competency improvement and cross-skilling plan for the team at the start of the project, review monthly, and ensure competency score improvement, with at least 50% of the team multiskilled - Assist the team in achieving stable velocity within 6-8 sprints (allowing for 10% variation either way) - Train the team on the proper adoption of Agile processes (Scrum / XP / Kanban) - Aid in the adoption of engineering practices like ATDD, TDD, CI, CD, Refactoring - Document and take ownership of retrospection actions - Participate in community of practice initiatives - Provide inputs to the Line manager for internal quality forums (QIC / APR / QBR / MBR etc.) Qualification Required: - Mandatory Skill: Agile Scrum Delivery - Experience: 8-10 Years Please note that Wipro Limited is building a modern organization focused on digital transformation and reinvention.
