We are seeking a Bilingual Scriptwriter who is fluent in both Malayalam and English to join our creative team. If you are passionate about Malayalam culture, digital trends, and crafting engaging content across platforms like YouTube and Instagram, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Write original scripts in Malayalam and English for digital platforms (Instagram Reels, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn).
• Transform briefs into compelling video stories ranging from short-form to lengthy interviews and branded segments.
• Collaborate with producers, directors, editors, and designers to maintain consistency in tone and visual storytelling.
• Develop engaging in-video text, dialogues, hooks, and voiceover scripts.
• Ensure all content is platform-appropriate, audience-centric, and culturally resonant.
• Participate in brainstorming and contribute to the content calendar.
• Analyze content performance and refine scripts based on analytics and audience feedback.
• Stay updated with Malayalam pop culture, social media trends, and evolving digital storytelling formats.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong fluency in both Malayalam and English (written and spoken)
• Bachelors degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Literature, or a related field
• 12 years of experience in scriptwriting, content creation, or digital storytelling
• Deep understanding of digital platforms, especially YouTube and Instagram, and their audience engagement strategies
• Passion for Malayalam culture, cinema, creators, and online content trends
• Ability to write across genres such as humor, emotional storytelling, and infotainment
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with quick turnarounds
• Familiarity with SEO, hashtags, and platform-specific writing styles
• Submission of writing samples or portfolio in both Malayalam and English is required
