Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and imaginative Script Writer to craft compelling scripts for a variety of media productions, including video content, commercials, documentaries, social media, branded content, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of storytelling, structure, tone, and pacing, and will collaborate closely with producers, directors, and content teams to develop engaging narratives that resonate with target audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Script Development:

• Write clear, engaging, and creative scripts for different formats (short-form, long-form, promo, educational, branded, etc.).
• Translate creative briefs and production goals into structured narratives.
• Tailor content to suit different platforms (e.g., web, social media, internal communications).
• Collaborate on storyboarding and pre-production planning when required.

Research & Ideation:

• Conduct research to ensure factual accuracy, authenticity, and relevance.
• Generate original content ideas and participate in brainstorming sessions with the creative team.
• Adapt existing scripts or messaging for different audiences or markets as needed.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with producers, directors, editors, and marketing teams to align on tone, timing, and creative direction.
• Revise and polish scripts based on feedback from stakeholders and clients.

Content Strategy:

• Understand target audience demographics and engagement strategies.
• Contribute to content planning and strategy discussions to align with broader production or campaign goals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a script writer, screenwriter, or content writer in a media production environment.
• Excellent storytelling, writing, and editing skills with strong command of language and tone.
• Ability to write in different styles, voices, and formats.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling and production workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Film, Media, Creative Writing, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
• Experience writing for video, Social Media, advertising, or online platforms.
• Knowledge of SEO, brand messaging, or content marketing is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Erode, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
