SCIENTIST COMPUTATIONAL BIOLOGY

Role Overview: You will be joining Cellworks as a Scientist in Computational Biology, where you will be instrumental in advancing the scientific understanding through computational methodologies. Your role will involve conducting research, developing methodologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address challenging scientific questions. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct in-depth research to stay updated on the latest advancements in computational biology and related fields. - Develop and implement novel methodologies for analyzing Genomic and Transcriptomic data while enhancing existing pipelines for better performance and scalability. - Utilize data analysis techniques to derive meaningful insights from complex biological datasets. - Apply machine learning algorithms to detect patterns and trends in extensive biological data. - Foster a culture of innovation by challenging norms, proposing creative solutions to scientific challenges, and actively participating in brainstorming sessions. - Provide input on experimental design and data interpretation to contribute effectively to the team. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field. - Strong understanding of biological concepts and principles. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R; familiarity with SQL is a plus. - Demonstrated experience in building and optimizing Genomic and Transcriptomic pipelines. - Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Hands-on experience in data analysis and machine learning would be advantageous.,
