Librarian

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, organize, and maintain the school librarys physical and digital resources.
• Manage cataloging, classification, issuing/return systems, and overall library operations.
• Support teachers and students by providing relevant books, reference materials, and research assistance.
• Promote reading habits through activities, displays, and library programs.
• Ensure the library adheres to CBSE norms and supports curriculum requirements.
• Maintain an orderly, student-friendly, and resourceful library environment.
• Manage library automation software and digital resource platforms.
• Conduct periodic inventory, record-keeping, and reporting of library activities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Library & Information Science (B.Lib.Sc / M.Lib.Sc) from a recognized institution.
• Prior experience working as a Librarian in a CBSE-affiliated school preferred.
• Knowledge of library automation software and digital resources management.
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for reading, learning, and student engagement.
• Willingness to relocate and stay on campus at Phulat, Muzaffarnagar (U.P.).
