Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role at Jindal World School in Sakti for a School Counselor. The role involves providing individual and group counseling to students, assisting them with academic, social, and emotional challenges. Additional responsibilities include addressing mental health concerns, facilitating career counseling sessions, and creating a supportive environment to foster student well-being and personal growth.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Student Counseling and general Counseling to support students in managing personal and academic challenges
• Knowledge and experience in Career Counseling to guide students in identifying and pursuing suitable career paths
• Strong understanding of Psychology and Mental Health fundamentals to identify and address emotional and psychological issues
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to connect with students, parents, and staff effectively
• Educational background in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
• Prior experience in school counseling or a related role is highly advantageous
