Job Description

Role Overview: As a Sales Engineer at HITACHI ENERGY TECHNOLOGY SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of operations to facilitate business activities. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support for Micro SCADA X and Substation Automation solutions/products to sales teams during the early stages of the sales process. Your contribution will drive key activities such as influencing specifications, conducting proof of concepts, and designing solutions to address customer pain points. By creating demand through technical promotion and delivering value during the sales approach, you will help in achieving market satisfaction and high customer/partner engagement. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical Micro SCADA X and Substation Automation solution/product support to sales teams. - Drive activities such as specification influence, proof of concepts, homologation, and solution designs. - Create demand through technical promotion and drive value during the sales approach. - Participate in creating exhibition setups and conducting webinars. - Work closely with global, HUB, and local organizations for continuous technical enablement and education on the latest product offerings. - Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers/partners to ensure high customer satisfaction. - Liaise with product management and R&D groups to ensure product roadmap alignment with market needs. - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. - Uphold company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes. Qualifications Required: - Successful completion of BE/BTech or equivalent, preferably in power, electrical, or communications. - 5-10 years of experience in automation of power transmission and distribution networks. - Experience in global roles and responsibilities. - Ability to closely coordinate with HUB, R&D, Product Management, Engineering, and Sales teams.
