Content Writer & Strategist bengaluru 1 - 5 years INR 3.0 - 4.5 Lacs P.A. Work from Office Full Time

Role Overview We are looking for a content writer who can think like a strategist, write like a storyteller, and operate like a producer. The ideal candidate is someone who doesnt just write scripts but builds narratives that perform someone who can spot emerging trends, decode what makes content work, and turn those insights into stories that move people. This is a creative-operations hybrid role. Youll be scripting for Instagram and YouTube, managing the entire content lifecycle from idea to publication and collaborating with editors, filmmakers, and marketing teams to bring each piece of content to life. Youll be expected to move fluidly between writing, researching, coordinating, and analyzing. Key Responsibilities 1. Scriptwriting and Creative Development Write compelling short-form and long-form scripts for Instagram reels, YouTube shorts, and full-length YouTube episodes. Develop creative hooks that capture attention in the first few seconds while maintaining narrative depth. Break down complex topics into simple, relatable, and emotionally resonant stories. Adapt writing style across formats — conversational for Instagram, structured and story-driven for YouTube. Partner with creative leads and subject experts to ensure content is credible and aligned with brand tonality. Maintain a deep understanding of storytelling craft — pacing, rhythm, dialogue, and structure. 2. Research and Trendspotting Constantly monitor Instagram, YouTube, and Reddit to identify new content trends, storytelling techniques, and cultural conversations. Conduct regular research on trending formats, creators, and communities relevant to our audience. Maintain a trend-tracker document highlighting emerging audio, memes, visual styles, and engagement tactics. Bring creative foresight — anticipate what’s next rather than reacting to what’s already viral. Analyze how mental health, productivity, relationships, and cultural topics are discussed online and find white spaces to create fresh, thoughtful takes. 3. Collaboration and Production Collaborate closely with editors, cinematographers, illustrators, and voice artists to translate scripts into finished videos. Create clear pre-production briefs — including script notes, visual direction, tone, and key emotion arcs. Manage communication between creative, technical, and marketing teams to ensure timely delivery and creative consistency. Participate in shoot planning, review footage, and provide creative feedback during post-production. Ensure each piece of content maintains the same level of quality — from storytelling to sound design and captioning. 4. Content Planning and Operations Maintain and update a structured content calendar across Instagram and YouTube. Build and document workflows for ideation, scripting, review, feedback, and publishing. Track the progress of multiple content pieces simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality. Coordinate approvals and iterations between internal teams and creative vendors. Ensure metadata, thumbnails, titles, and captions are optimized for platform-specific performance. Collaborate with the marketing team to align organic content with campaign goals and audience insights. 5. Performance and Optimization Track performance metrics across platforms — watch time, retention, saves, comments, shares, and audience drop-off rates. Study the analytics behind what worked and what didn’t, and translate those insights into actionable creative inputs. Conduct A/B testing for hooks, titles, or thumbnails to refine storytelling choices. Experiment with new content formats and measure their performance systematically. Qualifications 2–4 years of experience in content writing, creative strategy, or storytelling for digital platforms. Prior experience writing or producing for Instagram, YouTube, or short-form video . A portfolio that demonstrates your ability to craft original, engaging stories. Working knowledge of video production workflows , from ideation to final cut. Familiarity with analytics tools like YouTube Studio, Meta Insights, or TubeBuddy is a plus. Background in psychology, journalism, media, or cultural studies is a bonus but not mandatory. What Success Looks Like Within the first 3 months, you should: Deliver high-quality scripts that perform well in retention and engagement. Build a structured content pipeline with clear handoffs between writing, editing, and publishing. Contribute original content ideas that stand out from the noise. Be actively involved in content reviews, learning to assess footage and align creative tone. Within 6 months, you should: Lead scripting independently, from trend research to final review. Partner with editors and marketers to optimize content for both storytelling and reach. Own a recurring content series or show format that becomes part of our brand identity.

Video Editor & Motion Designer (Instagram & YouTube) bengaluru 3 - 7 years INR 5.0 - 6.0 Lacs P.A. Work from Office Full Time

Role Overview Were looking for a video editor who doesnt just cut and paste but thinks in rhythm, story, and emotion. Someone who understands that editing is writing with visuals, and can turn a raw idea or script into something you feel . You’ll be responsible for editing and post-producing all our short-form and long-form content across Instagram and YouTube. This includes reels, interviews, explainers, and original series. You’ll work closely with the content writer, filmmakers, and creative leads to make sure every frame reflects intention — in pacing, tone, and design. If you’re the kind of person who notices jump cuts, transitions, audio sync, and color balance before you notice the dialogue — you’re probably the one we’re looking for. Key Responsibilities 1. Video Editing & Post-Production Edit short-form and long-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and full YouTube episodes. Maintain high creative standards — from storytelling flow to sound design, pacing, and typography. Work from raw footage, adding structure, emotion, and narrative clarity. Apply motion graphics, text overlays, and visual cues that make content more engaging and easier to follow. Ensure videos are color-graded, sound-balanced, and visually aligned with brand tonality. Maintain consistent visual identity across all content series and platforms. 2. Storytelling Through Editing Collaborate with the scriptwriter and creative team to understand the core emotion and message of each piece. Translate written scripts into visual sequences — finding moments, reactions, and transitions that elevate the story. Use cuts, pacing, and music to create emotional arcs and maintain viewer attention. Understand how attention works in digital content — first-frame hooks, mid-video drop-offs, and closing satisfaction. Make creative choices that keep storytelling authentic, not just flashy. 3. Motion Design & Graphics Design motion graphics, kinetic text, and animated visual aids that complement the storytelling. Create templates for intros, outros, and recurring series formats to speed up workflow. Experiment with new visual styles, typography, and effects that match emerging content trends. Ensure brand consistency in all graphic and motion elements (color palette, fonts, iconography). 4. Technical Excellence Manage the full post-production workflow — from ingesting footage to final export. Maintain organized project files, naming conventions, and version control. Optimize video exports for different platforms (aspect ratios, codecs, compression). Manage color correction, audio normalization, and mastering across deliverables. Keep backups and ensure no file loss during revisions or feedback rounds. 5. Collaboration & Operations Partner closely with the content writer, DOP, and marketing team for feedback loops. Review scripts before shoots to anticipate editing needs and suggest shot structures. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within timelines. Coordinate with external freelancers if needed (sound engineers, animators, etc.). Build efficient workflows to move from idea shoot edit publish smoothly. 6. Trendspotting & Innovation Stay up-to-date with editing trends, visual transitions, and platform-specific styles. Watch creators and editors across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok to study new editing patterns. Experiment with new effects, formats, and compositions that keep our content fresh. Proactively bring visual ideas to brainstorming sessions. Skills & Qualities We’re Looking For Strong visual sense: You have an eye for color, light, and rhythm. You know how to make cuts feel seamless and moments impactful. Narrative instinct: You understand story arcs — setup, tension, payoff — and can shape footage to create them. Speed with precision: You can work fast without compromising quality. Motion graphics skill: Proficiency with After Effects or motion tools to enhance storytelling. Attention to detail: From typography alignment to audio levels, you catch what others miss. Curiosity: You’re obsessed with figuring out what makes videos go viral — not just views, but why people watch till the end. Collaboration: You’re open to feedback, know how to communicate visually, and can work well with writers, directors, and marketers. Adaptability: You’re comfortable switching between emotional long-form storytelling and snappy, witty short-form edits. Qualifications 2–4 years of experience in video editing, motion design, or post-production . Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory) and After Effects (preferred). Working knowledge of color grading, audio design, and compression formats . Experience editing for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.). A strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across genres and formats. Familiarity with tools like DaVinci Resolve , Final Cut Pro , or CapCut Desktop is a plus. Work Setup Location: Bengaluru (available for in-person shoots and creative reviews). Reporting To: Creative Lead / Founders. Working Style: High-ownership, iterative, and feedback-driven. Compensation: 30,000 – 50,000/month (based on experience & capability).
