SAP MDG Finance Technical Consultant

Notice Period: Immediate-15 days

Contract: Longterm contract(Extendable)

Work: Hybrid-PAN INDIA

Experience: Min 7+ Years

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP MDG Finance Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) with a strong focus on Finance (MDG-F) domain, including GL accounts, cost centers, profit centers, and company codes. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting SAP MDG solutions to ensure high-quality master data and governance processes across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver end-to-end SAP MDG-Finance implementations and rollouts.
• Design and configure MDG data models, UI, workflows, and validations for Finance master data.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Integrate SAP MDG with ECC/S4HANA and other systems for seamless master data distribution.
• Define and implement data governance policies, standards, and controls.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement of MDG processes.
• Work closely with technical teams for enhancements, data replication, and custom developments.
• Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 710 years of experience in SAP, with at least 4+ years in SAP MDG Finance.
• Strong knowledge of SAP MDG-F data models and SAP FICO integration.
• Hands-on experience with MDG configuration, BRF+, FPM, and workflow design.
• Experience in data quality, data migration, and data replication using SOA or ALE.
• Familiarity with S/4HANA and SAP MDG on S/4 is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• SAP MDG certification (preferred but not mandatory).

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to MDG-C (Customer) or MDG-S (Supplier) domains.
• Experience with SAP BTP, MDG Consolidation, or Central Governance.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
