SAP MDG Consultant

Key Responsibilities

SAP MDG Implementation & Development

• Design and develop Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions for Material, Customer, Supplier, or Finance master data
• Work on MDG integrations with both SAP and non-SAP systems
• Configure and enhance data models, UIs, and workflows as per business requirements
• Utilize DRF (Data Replication Framework) and perform related configurations
• Ensure effective use of SOA, Business Functions, and Change Requests

Process Documentation & Workflow Management

• Document master data processes using tools like Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint
• Develop and manage workflows and business rules using BRF+
• Perform data validation, profiling, cleansing, and migration activities

SAP Tool Integration & Support

• Work with tools such as SAP Data Services and SAP Data Steward for data management
• Understand key processes such as entity modeling, workflow editions, value mapping, data replication, and data transfers
• Support SAP upgrades and MDG-specific upgrades where applicable

Cross-functional & Presales Engagements

• Participate in RFPs and presales activities
• Collaborate with global teams across multicultural and multi-country environments
• Maintain familiarity with tools like SolMan, ChaRM, and optionally JIRA

Project Delivery

• Manage deliverables within tight timelines and short notice periods
• Deliver high-quality work under pressure with effective time management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel short-term or long-term internationally as per project needs
