Description
Role & responsibilities Design, architect, and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud integration solutions on SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) and other cloud-based platforms. Serve as a technical leader and mentor to other developers, providing guidance and expertise in SAP CPI and integration best practices. Oversee multiple integration projects, including planning, scoping, and resource management, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet performance standards. Work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and other developers to understand requirements, design integration solutions, and troubleshoot issues. Ensure high code quality and consistency through code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices and standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in integration processes, frameworks, and tools to increase efficiency and quality. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration solutions, technical specifications, and architecture guidelines. Ensure all integration solutions meet security, privacy, and compliance standards. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in software development with at least 5 years in cloud integration. Proven expertise in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and related SAP technologies. In-depth knowledge of SAP CPI, API Management, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Proficient in various integration patterns, such as SOAP/REST APIs, OData, and message queues. Strong experience with JSON, XML, XSLT, and data transformation. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively. Proven ability to lead and mentor other developers and work cross-functionally. Strong experience in implementing On Premise, Cloud, and/or Hybrid integrations. Understanding of microservices architecture design and implementation. Strong experience with agile projects, DevOps, and CI/CD. Demonstrate broad knowledge in business concepts, processes, and functional IT strategy.
