SAP BASIS Consultant

As a member of the Infosys consulting team, your primary responsibility will be to support the consulting team in various project phases. This includes problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design, and deployment. You will be involved in exploring alternatives to recommended solutions through research such as literature surveys, public domain information, and vendor evaluations. Additionally, you will be tasked with building proof of concepts (POCs). Your role will also entail creating requirement specifications based on business needs, defining to-be processes, and developing detailed functional designs. You will support configuring solution requirements, diagnosing issues, identifying root causes, seeking clarifications, and shortlisting solution alternatives. Furthermore, you will contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality solutions to customers. In terms of technical requirements, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in SAP Basis. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and maintaining SAP systems environments across different landscapes (Sandbox, Development, QA, Production, DR), installing, configuring, and supporting multiple SAP landscapes and 3rd party tools, performing core Basis functions, researching and implementing solutions for Basis functionality, and more. Experience with SAP HANA, Solution Manager, upgrades, OS/DB migrations, and cloud technologies will be beneficial. Moreover, you should possess the ability to work with clients to identify business challenges, analyze relevant data, stay abreast of the latest technologies and trends, think logically, collaborate effectively, assess current processes for improvement areas, and suggest technology solutions.
