SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) for non-HANA

Role Overview: You will be joining as a Team member at TCS for the position of SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) in non-HANA Ahmedabad Location. Your primary responsibility will be to work as an SAP ABAP consultant and interact with clients for discussions and resolution of various ABAP and integrated issues. You will play a key role in transforming business function requirements into technical program specifications, coding, testing, and debugging programs. Additionally, you will collaborate with other functional and technical team members of the project if necessary for addressing relevant issues. Your role will also involve status reporting, monitoring all the issues reported by users, and utilizing your communication and interpersonal skills effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize SAP ABAP experience in object-oriented programming, SAP smart forms, ADOBE forms/SAP Scripts, Data Dictionary, S/4 HANA concepts, ABAP 7.4 programming syntax, BDC programming, ALV list display, and Enhancements techniques like BADI, user exit, customer-exit, implicit enhancement, explicit enhancement in ABAP. - Work on knowledge in any of SAP - CDS Views, AMDP, HANA programming, and Code Push Down techniques. Qualifications Required: - Possess 4-7 years of experience in SAP ABAP along with relevant competencies in object-oriented programming, smart forms, data dictionary, and S/4 HANA concepts. - Strong understanding and hands-on experience in ABAP 7.4 programming syntax, BDC programming, ALV list display, and Enhancements techniques. - Knowledge in SAP - CDS Views, AMDP, HANA programming, and Code Push Down techniques would be an added advantage. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role. - Previous experience in multiple implementation and support projects would be beneficial.
