Must-Have Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP (ECC & S/4HANA)
  • Modern ABAP: ABAP OO, Inline Declarations, Constructor Expressions, Table Expressions, HANA-optimized ABAP SQL
  • CDS Views: Basic, Composite, Consumption Views, Associations, Annotations, DCL
  • RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model): Managed/Unmanaged BOs, Behavior Definitions, Actions, Validations, Draft, EML
  • OData Service Development
  • ABAP Cloud & Released APIs
  • Enhancement Framework: BAdIs, Enhancement Spots, Clean Core Extensibility
  • Performance Tuning: ST05, SAT, ST12, SQL Monitor, HANA Explain Plan

Good-to-Have Skills

  • SAP Workflow
  • Fiori Elements & SAPUI5 Basics
  • S/4HANA Implementation/Conversion Projects
  • SAP BTP (Launchpad, Build Work Zone)
  • Experience with SAP Fiori Applications

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance SAP applications using Modern ABAP.
  • Build CDS Views, RAP BOs, and OData Services.
  • Implement extensions using SAP-approved frameworks.
  • Optimize application and database performance.
  • Support SAP ECC and S/4HANA development initiatives.
