Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and enhance custom SAP applications using ABAP (OOABAP, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, Enhancements, etc.).
Develop and expose
OData services
to integrate SAP with SAP Fiori and external applications.
Implement applications using the
RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP)
for SAP S/4HANA.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather and analyze requirements.
Participate in code reviews and follow best practices in ABAP development.
Optimize performance and troubleshoot issues in existing ABAP programs and services.
Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and security protocols.
Provide technical documentation and support testing activities (unit, integration, UAT).

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years
of hands-on experience in
SAP ABAP development
.
Strong experience with
OData service creation and consumption
.
Solid working knowledge of
RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP)
.
Familiarity with
CDS Views
,
AMDP
, and
ABAP in Eclipse (ADT)
.
Experience with
SAP Fiori/UI5
integration is a plus.
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture and extensibility options.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
