About the Role Join our growing animation studio as a Full-time Remote Pre-Production Artist Intern and help shape the visual identity of stylized, Indian-inspired animated projects. This multi-disciplinary role combines concept art, visual development, storyboarding, and video editing—perfect for someone passionate about world-building and storytelling. What You'll Do Visual Development & Concept Design Design characters, environments, and props with a stylized, cartoony aesthetic Create color scripts, lighting studies, and mood boards Develop visual explorations that define project tone and atmosphere Storyboarding & Animatics Translate scripts into compelling visual sequences Create storyboards communicating pacing, emotion, and camera movement Build animatics with proper timing and flow Video Editing & Content Creation Edit final animation projects for various platforms Create behind-the-scenes content documenting our creative process Produce social media videos showcasing studio work and development insights Collaboration & Growth Work closely with directors, writers, and 3D artists Learn and experiment with 3D tools (training provided) Contribute to evolving our hybrid 2D/3D filmmaking approach What We're Looking For Required Skills: Strong character, environment, and prop design with stylized aesthetic Storyboarding experience with cinematography understanding Video editing skills for projects and social media content Solid grasp of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling Proficiency in digital illustration (Photoshop, Procreate, etc.) Experience with video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.) Ideal Candidate: Portfolio showcasing concept art, character designs, and/or storyboards Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn new tools (including 3D) Interest in world-building and Indian-inspired storytelling is a plus What You'll Gain Full-time remote internship with flexible, professional work environment Hands-on pre-production experience in professional animation Mentorship from experienced artists and directors Portfolio-building work on original Indian animation IPs Exposure to hybrid 2D/3D animation workflows Opportunity for full-time employment based on performance As part of a small, growing studio, you'll shape our creative direction and help build the foundation of our projects from the ground up To Apply Submit your portfolio (showcasing concept art, character design, environment design, and/or storyboarding), and resume.
