Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic, target-driven Sales Officer to lead on-ground retail penetration and distributor management in the Delhi territory. In this role, you will execute daily market beats, expand retail shelf presence, book secondary orders, and drive primary sales through designated distribution partners across retail, cosmetic, and chemist channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Beat & Market Coverage: Execute daily permanent journey plans (PJP) covering retail outlets, cosmetics stores, and pharmacies across assigned Delhi beats.
• Secondary Sales & Order Generation: Drive secondary order booking, maintain product availability, and ensure zero stock-outs across active counters.
• New Counter Expansion: Identify prospective retailers, appoint new billing counters, and increase both numeric and weighted distribution across the territory.
• Distributor Coordination: Liaise directly with local distributors to ensure timely order dispatch, invoice generation, primary billing clearance, and delivery fulfillment.
• Merchandising & Brand Visibility: Ensure prominent shelf placement, eye-level shelf presence, and neat deployment of point-of-sale materials (POSM), standees, and promotional posters.
• Payment & Credit Monitoring: Monitor market outstanding balances and assist distributors in timely receivables collection in line with company credit terms.
• Market Intelligence & Daily Reporting: Submit daily sales reports (DSR) using mobile reporting tools/Excel, track competitor schemes, pricing interventions, and market trends.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 1 to 3+ years of successful field sales experience in FMCG, personal care, cosmetics, or OTC retail sales within Delhi.
• Territory Knowledge: Strong familiarity with major Delhi wholesale and retail hubs (e.g., Sadar Bazar, Karol Bagh, Lajpat Nagar, Chandni Chowk, Rajouri Garden, or regional retail markets).
• Education: Graduate in any discipline or Higher Secondary (10+2) with proven FMCG sales track record.
• Mobility: Must possess a valid two-wheeler and an active driver’s license for daily field visits.
• Skills: Excellent negotiation, retailer relationship management, persistence, and basic digital fluency (MS Excel, WhatsApp business, mobile reporting).
