Job Description: Sales & Marketing Executive – Marketplace

Position Purpose The Sales & Marketing Executive will be responsible for generating leads, contacting businesses, explaining the benefits of the marketplace app, and onboarding vendors onto the platform.

Key Responsibilities

· Make outbound calls to local businesses, service providers, retailers, and merchants.

· Introduce and explain the marketplace app and its benefits.

· Generate qualified vendor leads.

· Follow up with interested vendors until registration is completed.

· Maintain accurate records of calls and lead status.

· Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly vendor onboarding targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• 1-6 years of experience in inside sales, tele-sales, business development, or marketplace sales.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build relationships and close deals over phone and virtual meetings.
• Basic knowledge of CRM tools and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
• Self-motivated and target-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in e-commerce, marketplace platforms, SaaS, or digital products.
• Lead generation and prospecting skills.
• Strong problem-solving and customer relationship management abilities.
• Fluency in English.
