Sales Manager (NVOCC Background )

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the NVOCC and freight forwarding segment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, freight forwarders, and key decision-makers.
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and market research.
• Prepare and present competitive quotations and proposals to clients.
• Negotiate rates and terms with customers in alignment with company guidelines.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
• Maintain an updated database of prospects and existing clients using CRM tools.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as defined by the management.
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote the company’s services.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in NVOCC sales.
• Strong understanding of ocean freight, containerized cargo, and global trade dynamics.
• Existing client base in shipping or freight forwarding is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
