About the Role We are looking for a skilled Production & Dispatch Manager to oversee the complete packaging and dispatch operations of our tea manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will manage production planning, ensure product quality, coordinate dispatch activities, and lead a team to achieve daily operational targets efficiently and safely. Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Management Plan and execute daily/weekly production schedules to meet customer and inventory requirements. Oversee tea packaging lines (pouching, tea bagging, labeling, sealing, carton packing). Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials. Monitor production efficiency, output quality, and reduce wastage. Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime through preventive maintenance. Quality & Compliance Ensure all packaging operations comply with food safety and quality standards (FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, ISO). Work closely with QA/QC teams for in-process checks and final product inspection. Maintain hygiene and cleanliness across production and dispatch areas. Implement corrective and preventive actions for quality deviations. Dispatch & Logistics Management Plan and oversee dispatch of finished goods as per customer orders and timelines. Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and sales teams to ensure smooth and timely deliveries. Maintain accurate inventory of finished products and packaging materials. Ensure proper documentation for dispatches, including invoices, challans, and shipment records. Team Leadership Lead, train, and supervise production and dispatch staff. Allocate tasks and monitor performance to meet operational goals. Maintain a safe, disciplined, and productive work environment. Reporting & Documentation Maintain daily production, dispatch, and inventory reports. Track key operational KPIs such as output, downtime, wastage, and order fulfillment.
