Ruby On Rails (ROR) Developer

As a Ruby Developer, your primary responsibility will be to write effective and scalable code in Ruby. You will be required to build back-end components for web applications and ensure that they are tested thoroughly for performance, responsiveness, and security. It will also be part of your role to review and debug code written by junior developers and provide necessary guidance. Furthermore, you will need to integrate data storage and data processing solutions into the applications you work on. Building, installing, and sharing gems and plugins will also be a key aspect of your job. You will be expected to create automated test scripts to streamline the testing process and improve the efficiency of the development cycle. After the deployment of applications, your responsibility will extend to improving and maintaining them. Collaboration with team members working on different infrastructure layers will be crucial in ensuring the success of the projects you are involved in. In terms of knowledge, proficiency in Ruby, Rails, MySQL, jQuery, CSS, Git, and Sublime is essential for this role. Additionally, you should have experience in supporting high-availability, high-performance, customer-facing web applications. Expertise in configuring and deploying multiple Rails applications quickly and managing releases in small agile teams is highly valued. Experience in building internal and external APIs, as well as RESTful web services, will be advantageous. A strong foundation in databases, particularly MySQL and Postgres, is necessary for this position. Your understanding of software design and architecture should be outstanding, and you are expected to have knowledge of Micro Services.
