You will be responsible for validating network features, ensuring system reliability, performing automated and manual tests, and working closely with the engineering teams to enhance performance, scalability, and security of next-generation core router. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing test plans and test cases for networking features and systems, performing functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across network components, troubleshooting, isolating, and reporting bugs and issues with clear documentation. You will collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve defects, automate repetitive test scenarios using tools like Selenium, PyTest, or other frameworks, analyze logs, packet captures, and network behavior using tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, or equivalent, validate routing/switching configurations, firewall rules, and load balancer behavior, ensure compliance with industry standards and security protocols, and document test strategies, release notes, and QA metrics. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field, along with 02 years of experience in QA or network testing roles. You should possess a solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and basic routing/switching, familiarity with QA methodologies, tools, and processes, experience with test automation tools and scripting in Python, Bash, or similar, knowledge of Linux environments and basic command-line debugging, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Certifications like CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent would be considered a plus.
