As a Robotics Engineer at our company based in Hyderabad, India, you will be responsible for hands-on building and deployment of Physical AI systems. Your role will involve working on autonomous navigation, manipulation, perception, and control, as well as creating ROS-based systems that can operate in real-world conditions with noise, latency, and hardware challenges. You will have the opportunity to guide student teams by actively building alongside them, creating reference implementations, and providing support to teams facing hardware-software integration issues. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to lead 30+ student teams in shipping end-to-end Physical AI projects within 12 months, ensuring reliable robot performance during demos and competitions, and helping students develop clear understanding and skills in Physical AI projects. Additionally, you will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of the lab's capabilities and ambition by building new demo projects and exploring emerging approaches in robotics such as VLAs and imitation learning. Key Responsibilities: - Build and deploy Physical AI systems - Autonomous navigation, manipulation, perception, and control - Guide student teams by building and creating reference implementations - Teach fundamentals through working systems, not slides - Prepare robots for demos and competitions - Debug failures across sensors, actuators, firmware, and software - Create scalable learning assets including practical videos and cookbooks - Help students move from zero to working Physical AI projects - Continuously push lab capabilities by building new demo projects - Experiment with emerging approaches in robotics such as VLAs and imitation learning Qualifications Required: - 02 years of experience in robotics, Physical AI, hardware systems, or deep-tech programs - Strong hands-on experience in robotics / Physical AI - Comfort with ROS, sensors, actuators, control, and system integration - Experience building real robots (not just coursework) - Competition / lab / demo experience is a big plus If you have independently built ROS-based systems, implemented new Physical AI stacks hands-on, and have experience debugging hardware-software issues under pressure, we encourage you to apply.
