We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Manager to uphold and elevate our rigorous quality standards across our production processes and supply chains. Location: Perungudi, Chennai Reporting To: Production Head Key Responsibilities (Summary): The Quality Manager will oversee the entire Quality Management System (QMS) at Rhanos, focusing on these core areas: 1. Quality System Management & Compliance: Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the company's QMS, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards. This includes controlling and maintaining all quality documentation (SOPs, work instructions, manuals). 2. Process Control and Improvement: Establish detailed quality control procedures for raw materials, in-process screen printing, and final product inspection. Conduct regular internal audits and manage external certification audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement. Drive continuous improvement using tools like Statistical Process Control (SPC) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to analyze process data and mitigate risks. 3. Supplier Management: Serve as the primary contact for customer quality requirements and issues. Manage the supplier quality assurance program, including audits and performance monitoring. Lead the investigation and resolution of non-conformances and customer complaints by implementing robust Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) . 4. Co-ordination and Training: Continuously monitor machine operators, mentor, and train the QA team, fostering a company-wide culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement. Required Skills and Qualifications Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, or Printing Technology) or at least a Diploma in a related technical field. Experience: 2-5 years of proven experience in Quality Assurance/Management, preferably in a printing, packaging, or component manufacturing environment. Automotive Experience: Strong understanding of automotive industry quality requirements, standards (e.g., IATF 16949, PPAP), and core tools (APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP). Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & Corel Draw is a must. Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills: Proficiency in English and Tamil ( Conversational) Knowledge of Screen-printing processes is a significant advantage. Why Join Rhanos?
