Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a RF and Mixed-Signal Bench Characterization Engineer to join the BDC Post Silicon Engineering group. As part of this group, you will be responsible for developing test solutions for the design verification of highly integrated Receivers/Transmitters/Transceivers, Power management, Analog and Mixed signal ASICs designed by QCT. Your role will involve implementing new test methodologies, conducting device verification and characterization, designing and debugging test interface hardware, test automation, and data analysis. To be eligible for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field with at least 2 years of Hardware Engineering experience. Alternatively, a Master's degree with 1 year of related work experience or a PhD in a relevant field is also acceptable. The ideal candidate should possess solid software skills for writing and debugging test automation code. Competency in automation development using at least one automation tool such as C#, LabVIEW, Test Stand, or Python is required. You will be responsible for developing software solutions using OOPs principles to interface with RF hardware, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. Additionally, conducting rigorous testing and validation of the automation framework to meet industry standards and performance requirements is crucial. It is important to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive system design and implementation. Familiarity with AI/ML algorithms, understanding of deep learning concepts, and expertise in developing test automation through remote control of instruments are advantageous. A solid understanding of Electronics engineering fundamentals, Mixed-signal and RF circuit analysis techniques, and knowledge of measurement techniques such as Harmonics, EVM, IP3, and Noise Figure are desired. Hands-on experience with Lab equipment like Spectrum analyzer, Signal Generator, Network Analyzer, and Digitizer is a plus. The successful candidate should be able to work independently with initiative through challenges, technical or otherwise, communicate clearly, organize effectively, and document work thoroughly while collaborating with local and global teams.
