Roles & Responsibilities:

Prescription management and dispensing

• Dispense medications: Accurately fill and label prescriptions for patients.
• Verify prescriptions: Check for the correct drug, dosage, and route, and screen for potential drug interactions or allergies.
• Communicate with prescribers: Contact doctors to clarify orders, resolve issues, or discuss alternative medications.

Patient and customer care

• Counsel patients: Advise patients on how to take their medications, including potential side effects, interactions, and storage.
• Provide over-the-counter (OTC) advice: Answer questions and provide recommendations for non-prescription medications and health supplies.
• Administer immunizations: Provide vaccinations like flu shots.
• Conduct health screenings: Perform screenings for conditions such as high blood pressure, cholesterol, or diabetes.

Pharmacy operations and management

• Manage inventory: Monitor stock levels, order new supplies, and ensure that medications are stored properly and are not expired.
• Maintain records: Keep accurate records of prescriptions, patient profiles, and controlled substances.
• Supervise staff: Oversee pharmacy technicians and other staff, ensuring the pharmacy runs smoothly.
• Ensure compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and legal regulations governing pharmaceutical practice.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,529.56 - ₹24,636.03 per month
