Research Assistant/Postdoctoral

As a Full-Time Research Assistant/Postdoctoral at the Institute of Statistical Science, you will be an integral part of the "Climate Change and Environmental Studies" research group team. Working closely with the project leader/co-leader, your responsibilities will include tasks such as data cleaning, statistical modeling, data analysis, and publishing research findings in international journals. Applicants for this position should come from domestic or international universities with a background in data analysis related fields such as Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science. Candidates applying for the assistant position should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree, while postdoctoral researchers should have a Ph.D. degree. An eagerness to acquire new knowledge and skills in data analysis is essential, with expertise in time series analysis and functional data analysis being advantageous. The working hours for this position are from 08:30 to 17:30 at the Institute of Statistical Science, Academia Sinica.
