Renishaw CMM Programmer

You will be responsible for the following key tasks in the role of a CMM Programmer: - Programming CMMs: You will develop and modify inspection programs using specialized software like MODUS module Blade Planner, Patch Planner, Curve Planner. - Performing Inspections: Utilize the programmed CMMs to measure parts and components, ensuring they meet specified dimensions and tolerances. - Interpreting Drawings and Blueprints: Understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T to accurately interpret measurements and tolerances. - Analyzing Measurement Data: Evaluate measurement results, identify deviations, and document findings. - Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with CMM programming or equipment. - Collaboration: Work with engineers, quality control personnel, and other team members to ensure product quality and address any issues. - Maintaining Equipment: Ensure the CMM is properly maintained and calibrated, and that the work area is clean and organized. - Documentation: Create and maintain accurate documentation of inspection results, non-conformances, and other relevant information. - Following Quality Standards: Ensure all work is performed according to established quality standards and procedures. You should possess the following skills for this role: - Technical Skills: Proficiency in CMM programming MODUS software, Knowledge of Multiaxis, GD&T, and measurement techniques. - Field Experience: Aerospace or Defence Experience will be preferred. - Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze measurement data, identify trends, and troubleshoot problems. - Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with team members and other stakeholders. - Problem-solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to CMM programming or measurement. - Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and precision in all aspects of the job. - Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently or as part of a team.
